WHY DOES THIS SITE REFUSE TO FILE OR PARTICIPATE WITH INSURANCE?

During COVID-19 theatre many insurance companies joined the chorus of malign voices deploring the use of Ivermectin. This did no good for patients, doctors, or insurance companies in the short run. However, it kept insurance companies on the right side of officialdom that wrote the big checks and gave out the big contracts. By denying that safe effective early therapy was available for COVID-19 this alliance justified the release of experimental gene therapies under a new definition of vaccine that would include agents of limited duration and effectiveness to be charitable.

In my experience discussing therapy with insurance companies is not a constructive use of time. They have their talking points, their scripts, like any other telephone solicitor. You can rarely if ever budge them. Now they have become an unofficial arm of the government and your insurance is just another tax. Arguing with the government is a full time job, and the same with insurance companies, hence large practices have personnel devoted to dealing with insurance. Businesses have lawyers and accountants to deal with the government. In the solo practice world, time is too short and money too tight to spend in this manner.

Therefore I am only dealing with patients directly now. By avoiding officially condoned dubious therapies we hope our patients can enjoy healthier lives with less fear, and die later than their compatriots who choose to benefit from “free” and “approved” care. If you value something, such as your health, and want advice or to discuss if medication can help you, paying directly makes it clearer that nothing but the physician’s opinion based on training and experience is influencing the advice you receive.
